A Message From The Owner
As Escape Room Arlington embarks on a new chapter, I would first and foremost like to thank all of you for your continued support. None of us could’ve imagined what was going to transpire in the past few months. In addition to the closure of local businesses, Americans have had to forgo meaningful gatherings and many face the devastation of a loved one suffering from COVID-19. The pandemic has definitely changed the way we live our lives and view the outside world.
Phase III of Virginia's reopening allows escape rooms to operate with social-distancing restrictions. Our official "Grand Reopening" is July 2nd, after a 16 week hiatus. As the owner of Escape Room Arlington, my main focus is to keep our staff and visitors safe. We have always prided ourselves on a very clean facility and have added new protective measures to maintain our high standards. A full list of our new policies is posted on-site and on our website.
For the foreseeable future, all bookings will be automatically private at no additional fee. We have doubled all of our hand props so they may be sanitized between each group. Room play will begin at 30 minute intervals--instead of 15--to allow for thorough cleaning. Early arrivals will wait outside or in separate indoor waiting areas away from staff and other visitors. We will run our photo booth without costumes or props. Staff will wear masks while on-site.
We ask visitors to be as vigilant with safety as we are. You will be required to wear a mask while inside, and wash your hands before and after playing. Do not visit Escape Room Arlington is you feel ill or have reason to think you've been exposed to COVID-19. We will be flexible to rebook groups that wish to cancel out of caution.
I firmly believe an escape room adventure is one of the best ways to have a memorable, fun experience while still controlling your exposure level and avoiding unsafe situations. On behalf of our entire team, I look forward to welcoming you back!
Thank you
Josh Cooper, Owner
